PLEASE NOTE
-
We can experience high winds in Scotland. Please keep hold of the door when going in and out of the cabin. If you would like to leave the door open, please use the latch. You will find it on the access step and bottom of the door. it is also recommended to use the door stop provided.
-
When lighting the Wood burning stove. Keep the bottom vent open (pulled out) and the stove door slightly cracked open for a 10/15mins to allow the stove to heat up and create a good draw (air flow). Use only smaller logs to begin with to allow the fire to establish.
-
The electric Hob will only work with induction pots/pans (provided).
-
The cabin has its own hot water tank, it is plenty for baths, showers etc but keep in mind it is not an endless supply and will take time to heat back up if used a lot. Best way is to mix the bath to the temp you like, as you fill! The water comes out very hot so this will save unnecessary waste.
Directions

The easiest way to find us is to enter AB45 3RL into your SATNAV/Google maps. We are situated on this single track road where the satnav will take you. keep going and you will see our RUSTIC HOLLOW sign, if you end up back on the main road, sadly you have went too far, However, The sign will be easily spotted. The entrance is also lined with 4x large boulders at each side, this will give you a clue, you're in the right place..
Enter through the gate and follow the little road down to the car park.....and relax

If SATNAV isn't an option......

Coming from Macduff, follow the A98 towards Fraserburgh for approx. 1m. You will come to a staggered junction, Take the left just before the sign that says Fortrie 2m.
Now follow the single track road for 0.5mile and Rustic hollow is the 3rd on your left.

Again, call if you are struggling to find us.
